etym

For me the etymology of vorbă can be possibly from latin verbum... if i'm not wrong consider that feminine of verbum in Latin is verba, really similar to vorbă! However these are all suppositions...

look at the declinatio chart, in plural you'll see a "verba". Vorbă may be connected in evolution from vulgar latin verba of Dacia to today Romanian...

I agree with you that it could be a possible derivation. I was unsure so I changed the derivation to "unknown", but you make an excellent point!
